ATI 2011 Conferences

Growing up Anna & I were both homeschooled through the Advanced Training Institute (ATI) and our families attended the annual ATI Training Conference. It is hard to describe exactly everything that you will take away from the conference, but to say that it just a homeschool training conference would be a mischaracterization. The ATI Regional Training Conference gathers great speakers & teachers from around the world into one location for a time of encouraging and equipping parents and young people in seeking after God. Numerous exciting activities are available based on age group and gender all designed to grow their relationship with God and to build lasting friendships with others who are seeking to do the same.

In 2006, I met the love of my life, my wife Anna, at an ATI Regional conference and although we had both been many times, we met then for the very first time. So, to me the ATI conference has even more of a "special place" in my heart! It used to be that you had to be a member of ATI to go to the conference, but now it is open to all Christian families desiring to raise their children to follow Christ. This is a great way to meet other families, find out more about all that ATI offers and to hear great teaching from many well known Christian speakers & teachers. Make sure to put the annual ATI conference in your schedule today!

The ATI "Homeschool" Conferences are packed with practical instruction, motivating messages, and family fellowship. Parents gain renewed vision for training their children, students learn about deepening their walk with God and pursuing their goals, and grandparents and friends discover what the ATI program is all about.

The conferences feature activities and sessions prepared to meet the needs of the entire family. Students can participate in a variety of programs that communicate the themes of the conference, while parents are uplifted and motivated through sessions that address key life issues. The conferences also provide a great place to meet new friends and find others who are striving to seek God's will in every area of their life.

The 2010 conference schedule is packed full of wonderful teaching on building Godly homes, strengthening marital relationships and using God's power in our lives to win the race that is set before us.

We are planning to attend the Big Sandy, Texas conference on April 26-29 where the entire conference is held on the 2200 acre ALERT Campus, and we look forward to seeing you there! - Josh (& Anna + Mackynzie!) Duggar

In addition to the group sessions, young people have the opportunity to participate in many of the various activities:

Student Sessions (students aged 12 and up)
How to Experience the Power of Christ's CommandsStudent Sessions
How would you like to be able to share a dynamic testimony from your life? You will learn
in this session as you hear others who are applying the truths from the new book entitled 49

Secrets of Power for Living. You will be shown how to select one command and make it a source
of power in your life and a life changing testimony to others.
How to Guarantee an Incredible Future!
God promises that if you love Him with all your heart, you cannot even imagine the great
things He has in store for your life. (See I Corinthians 2:9.) This promise is really true and we
want you to experience it, but there is one catch–there can be no competing affections. There
are five culprits that keep cropping up. Let's expose them and banish them from our lives.
Enjoy Living in a One-Accord Family
Your future life and marriage will be more effected by your family relationships than any
other single factor. The rediscovered truths about the Lord's Table in your home is an
essential component, but there are skills and attitudes that you must have to make it work.
We will talk about these in this session.
Receive the Power of Boldness, Love, and Wisdom
Are you afraid of witnessing, defeated in your Christian life, and wondering what your
future holds? There is a transfer of power that comes by the laying on of hands and the
verbal blessing of your father. (See II Timothy 1:6-7.) You can receive that this week.
How to Experience the Power of Hospitality
Honoring the poor and needy in your community is not a suggestion– it is a command!

However, it will not happen unless someone like you takes initiative and makes it happen.
What you learn in this session will give you valuable skills for the rest of your life.

Pre-EXCEL (girls aged 8-11)
Pre-EXCEL is an action-packed program that is geared toward discipling young
Pre-Excel
girls by the Godly example of young ladies who have been through the EXCEL
program. The goal is to reach the hearts of the girls by demonstrating the love

of Christ to them and instilling vital truths and practical, easy lessons on how
to live the life of a “virtuous woman.” The theme for our program this year is
“Empowering Daughters to Run the Race Set Before Them.” Your daughters will
be encouraged and inspired to put Scriptural truths into action at home!

COMMIT (girls aged 12-15)
COMMIT provides an oasis for young ladies to pursue a relationship with Christ,
gain vision for a life calling, and build family relationships. This program features
dynamic group sessions, focused small groups, and fun activities, all designed to
inspire young women. Attendees will enjoy meeting other young ladies on their
team as they participate in team devotions, projects, and discussion times.

ALERT Cadet Challenge (young men aged 8-17)
The ALERT Cadet Challenge is an action-packed program filled with spiritual,
mental, and physical challenges for young men. The three-day event is designed
to impart a vision for service to each young man and to challenge him to develop
a heart fully committed to Christ.

Children’s Institute (children aged 4-7)The Children's Institute
In the Children’s Institute, children will be taught to accept God’s design for
their lives, to cheerfully obey parents and God-given authorities, and to become
truly successful by memorizing Scripture. Each child will receive a sash with
character buttons, an activity book, and crafts that illustrate the concepts which
are covered throughout the conference.

We hope that your family will join us this year at the 2011 ATI Regional Conferences!
